Voice and tone

We sound like a helpful coach, not a salesperson. Four principles, each with a line we use and a line we avoid.

Clear

Short sentences, plain words, one idea at a time.

We say: “Your payout arrives within 2 business days.”

We avoid: “Leverage our synergistic payout ecosystem.”

Honest

Say what is typical, not what is best.

We say: “Most members earn a small amount in their first months.”

We avoid: “Everyone makes money fast.”

Encouraging

Celebrate effort and progress, not riches.

We say: “You finished your first training. Nice work.”

We avoid: “You are on the road to financial freedom.”

Respectful

Treat friends and family as people, not leads.

We say: “Share it only if you think it would help them.”

We avoid: “Never take no for an answer.”

Do and don’t

The quick checklist before you publish anything with our name on it.

Do

  • Use the logo from this page on white, mist or slate ink, with the clear space around it.
  • Describe the product first and the business opportunity second.
  • Put the income disclosure next to any earnings mention. Link to the compensation plan.
  • Say you are an independent member, not an employee of SmartHR MLM.
  • Ask for consent before you share a member’s photo, name or story.

Don’t

  • Stretch, rotate, recolour or add shadows to the logo, and never rebuild it from text.
  • Put white text on sunrise orange or cyan. It fails the contrast check.
  • Show payouts, cheques or luxury cars as proof of results. Screenshots of earnings are not allowed.
  • Imply employment or endorsement, such as “work for SmartHR MLM”.
  • Pressure people with false countdowns or “last chance to join”.

Income claims and required disclaimers

Mandatory for every post, email, video, deck and presentation made with these materials.

Mandatory

Never promise or guarantee income. Earnings come from selling products and services and depend on your own effort, skill and market. Most members earn little or nothing. Anything that suggests otherwise will be removed and can lead to account suspension.

Not allowed, and what to say instead

  • Not allowed“Guaranteed income”

Say instead“Earnings depend on your effort and are not guaranteed.”

  • Not allowed“Earn $5,000 a month from home”

Say instead“Members earn commissions on sales. Most earn less than $50 a month.”

  • Not allowed“Quit your job in 90 days”

Say instead“Many members build this alongside other work.”

  • Not allowed“Passive income” or “unlimited earning potential”

Say instead“Commission on your sales and your team’s sales, by rank.”

  • Not allowed“No experience, no risk, anyone can do it”

Say instead“Membership has a cost. Read the compensation plan before you decide.”

  • Not allowedPhotos of cash, cars or holidays as proof of results

Say insteadShow products, training or events. Add “Results are not typical” to any testimonial.

Required disclaimer

In the 12 months to September 2026 the median member earned $42 per month in commissions, and 58% earned less than $50 per month. Rank bonuses and team commissions require qualification. Results depend on your own effort, skills and local market. Full details: smlm.example/income-disclosure
